N. 2022/982 DECREE The Organismo Mundial de Cursillos de Cristiandad (OMCC) was established during the 5 th Inter-American Meeting, held in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) between June 23 rd and 27' h 1980. With its decree of May 30“ 2004, the Pontifical Council for the Laity granted recognition to the OMCC as a structure of coordination, promotion and divulgation of the Cursillo in Christianity experience, enjoying juridical personality in canon law, and approved its statutes ad experimentum. At the request of the OMCC, in order to allow more reflection on the statutes across the movement, the Pontifical Council for the Laity's letter of May 4 th 2009 extended this ad experimentum period. With a decree dated December 12 t ' 2014, the same Dicastery approved modified statutes for the OMCC.
